90210 The Soundtrack
Reviewed By ~ Jess

This is the newest 90210 soundtrack, not to be confused with any other previous 90210 soundtracks. Newly released Oct 13th 2009, I was excited to see that The Raconteurs, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Anberlin were on this disk. From what I have heard these tracks are exclusive to this disk only and will not be available separately via iTunes or whatever. Much like the show, it is the music that helps paint the scenes and make them impactful. The opening track Many Shades Of Black with Adele and the Raconteurs is one of those songs, and has some great potential and is very fresh in its approach. The All American Rejects track Sierra's Song is great as well. Jet seems to stick with their formula rock - nothing new there. Overall the tone of this disk is pretty mellow and not too groundbreaking. Nothing is wrong with being mellow, like I always say there is a song for every occasion.
