Wow, The Space Ace, Ace Frehley busts out his first solo release in twenty years, and to me worth the wait. Ace laid it down! There are some real great songs on this cd, and overall very solid guitar work. I must mention I was never really into the whole Kiss thing, but I think this cd holds its own. Ace can say more in four notes on his guitar than most can say in forty, its got soul man!
I would have to pick Genghis Khan as my favorite track coming in at over 6 minutes long. Look to hear the first single "Outer Space" on the radio soon, and Ace does an awesome jam of "fox on the run" a remake of an old 70's tune you will recognize, this version could possibly be better than the original- decide for yourself when you pick up your own copy of Anomaly.
I believe the itunes version of Anomaly will have an extra track that is not on the cd, but you will not get the cool packaging that includes a 3d pyramid type thing, and a mini poster.
Ace dedicates this release to Eric Carr, and Dimebag Darrell.
Kiss fan or not, this is a great cd. 2 thumbs up!
