Creed
Live DVD
DC3 Music Group
Review by: ~ Downshifter

Another great concert captured by DC3 director and producer Daniel Catullo, this time he used over 200 High Def cameras to capture Creeds entire performance at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in Houston, Texas on September 25th, 2009. If you got a chance to catch this run of the Creed reunion tour you probably already know about this dvd, and have it or will get it. But if you didn't catch the guys on their recent trek this dvd does a great job at capturing the Creed experience. Shot somewhat early in the tour, it captures Scott Stapp who does not seem to hit the same notes he did just a few short years ago, especially the "Higher" ones. I did enjoy seeing some of the tunes like "Say I", and "Faceless man". The band sounded tight and gave a great performance, and it was cool to see new life in the Band, that in Eric Freidman (Ex-Daughters of Mara) the second guitarist. Eric really added a new element to the same old, same old. I also enjoyed the behind the scenes documentary, that included interviews and introduced Eric to the Audience, and told a little bit about his story. Like I have said before this Reunion felt forced, and I am not a fan of Stapp, but overall a good dvd to include in your Rock collection. Camera work is stellar, and audio is great.
