Review by ~ Aniruddh (Andrew) Bansal

Coverland is one of the side projects involving some of the familiar faces from LA area metal tribute bands. They played a full 3-hour show today at the Swap Meet. It was a very enjoyable selection of songs, including some Pink Floyd tunes along with the likes of Tom Petty, Foo Fighters, Guns N Roses and a couple of heavy metal tunes here and there. The performance of the band members was awesome as usual and as I've said many times before, they are a talented bunch of musicians. They also showed through this show that they have a really diverse taste in music. I'm pretty sure there'll be a bigger crowd at future Coverland shows as more and more people come to know about the kind of songs they play, hopefully through this review. For me it was a refreshing break and change from the usual heavy metal gigs that I go to. Thank you Coverland!
