Electric Funeral kicked off three hours of classic Black Sabbath tribute with the first set at noon, opening with the song Black Sabbath itself. Some of the other songs off of the first Sabbath album like N.I.B., Behind The Wall Of Sleep and Wicked World were included in this set too. This really was a great selection of songs to start the day with. Some of the best songs from Paranoid were played as well, closing the set with the title song.

They started the second set at 1.30 and this was my favorite set as it included Dio era songs. The opening song was TV Crimes followed by Mob Rules and Sweet Leaf. The epic Iron Man and War Pigs formed the middle of this set. They brought on some guest musicians for this set. Debbie Obarski from the band Cover Land came on to sing for Children Of The Sea. The vocalist and bassist from Dia also came on for the following song Heaven And Hell. Its always fun to sing along to that song, be it a Black Sabbath show or a tribute show. The set was most appropriately closed out by Neon Knights.

The third set had some of the rarest stuff and as the vocalist Jeff rightly said, it was for the die hard fans. National Acrobat was the opening song and there were a couple of songs from the Sabbath Bloody Sabbath album. I never expected St. Vitus Dance to be played, but it was! They closed it all with two songs from the Master Of Reality album, Into The Void and my favorite Sabbath song Children Of The Grave.

Jeff Fahnestock, the vocalist, really brings a lot of energy into his performance. He does the Ozzy and Dio impressions equally well. His voice suits both eras of songs. His head banging is the most outstanding feature. As a person in the front row of the crowd, when I see him head banging like that, it compels me to do the same! That's the kind of effect the vocalist of a metal band should have on the crowd. The guitarist Jesse and the bassist Victor did a great job too. I have to commend Chris "the drumslut" Silva because I thought he was amazing.

On the whole, I would have liked some songs from the Tony Martin era, but it still was one of the best Sabbath tribute shows I've seen.
