At first when I got to the place I had no idea what I'm in for. I was expecting just another routine Led Zeppelin tribute show. The opening band was a David Lee Roth era Van Halen tribute called Fan Halen. They were really entertaining I thought. They played for an hour and included classics like 'Running With The Devil', 'Ain' t Talkin' 'Bout Love', 'Dance The Night Away' and 'Jump'. They even brought out a 15 year old kid to play guitar for one of the songs. The bassist did a bottoms-up with a Jack Daniel's which was apparently real whisky! They started playing at 8 o clock and ended at 9.

Led Zepagain hit the stage at 9.30 with The Song Remains The Same and the crowd went wild. They continued with Celebration Day after that. The announcement that they made after playing this song totally blew me away. They said this is a special night as it's the 30th anniversary of Led Zeppelin's legendary Knebworth concert in 1979 which was played on the exact same day 14th August. So they were going to recreate the magic with the same set list and the same costumes.

Really, I have to give it to these guys for being the most authentic Led Zeppelin tribute band the world has seen, and will ever see. The vocalist sings, dresses and moves in y exactly the same way that Robert Plant used to. Same can be said about the other members. But most importantly, they sound exactly like Led Zeppelin.

Then they played classic as well as rare songs including Black Dog, Over The Hills And Far Away, No Quarter, Hot Dog and many others. Stairway to Heaven was the 19th song of the night after which they went in for a brief moment and came out with a two-song encore. They did the same set list as the 1979 Zeppelin set list except that they played 21 songs instead of 23, most probably because of the time constraints as it was already well past midnight when they were done! That was more than two and a half hours of the most amazing Led Zeppelin tribute act!

Any Led Zeppelin fan who lives in the Southern California area and hasn't seen this band,
highly recommend doing so as soon as you can!
