The show started at 8.45 with the first band Which One's Pink, a tribute to Pink Floyd. They opened with the first song off of the Dark Side of The Moon album Breathe, and to the delight of everyone, they continued playing the whole album! It was a treat to see songs like Time, Great Gig In The Sky, Money, Us and Them and all the rest. The band was in top form tonight. Steve Zukowsky was brilliant on the guitar as well as on the other instruments that he played. Paul Samarin and John Stack were great. The female backing vocalists did a good job too, specially Tali Azerad on Great Gig In The Sky.
After ending the Dark Side Of The Moon album with Eclipse, they proceeded to play a few songs off of the most legendary rock album The Wall, including In The Flesh, Thin Ice and of course part 2 of Another Brick In The Wall. Dan Johnson was truly amazing with his laughs and grunts in this song and on a few other songs. The crowd really enjoyed it whenever he appeared on stage, cheering him on every time. Then they came up with a couple of rarer songs from the Final Cut album, Southampton Dock followed by the title song. After this they went back to the Wall for most of the remaining set starting with Empty Spaces and Young Lust. One song off of the Meddle album was also played, the song One Of These Days. The most amazing part of the set was yet to follow, with Hey You, Comfortably Numb and the encore performance of Run Like Hell.
Most of the songs were from either Dark Side Of The Moon or The Wall. Being a huge Pink Floyd fan and having never seen the original band in a live performance, I couldn't ask for more from a tribute band! They did a splendid job, playing for almost two hours and thoroughly entertained the crowd with their gig. They didn't have the massive production that the Australian Pink Floyd band has (another tribute band that I wrote about in an earlier post), but their performance of the Pink Floyd songs was as good as theirs. It showed that they focused majorly on getting the songs sound right and they sure did! Three cheers for Which One's Pink!

Led Zepagain kicked off their show after a long wait, at 11 o clock. The first song itself, Rock And Roll, got the crowd going. It was a pleasure being in the photo pit for these bands tonight, specially Led Zepagain because of the way they dress up and do the impressions of Plant, Page, Jones and Bonham. Its exactly like the legends themselves and it's a delight to take pictures when they are on stage. They always throw in a few surprises and with them its not just the usual and popular Zeppelin tunes. The next song, Celebration Day off of the Led Zeppelin III was an example of that. Ramble On came next. It was nice to see a few songs off of Physical Graffiti, like the song In My Time Of Dying. The show had really warmed up by now and it was about to get a lot better. I head banged like crazy on the song that followed, one of my favorite Zeppelin tunes Song Remains The Same.
Quite a few more classics were played, including Rain Song and a couple of acoustic tunes Going To California and Battle Of Evermore. Tali of Which One's Pink also came out to do the vocals for this one, just like Sandy Denny did it with Zeppelin back in 1971. Steve played the Mandolin delightfully well. The vocalist Swan was in his elements in the next song Nobody's Fault But Mine. As always, he got the crowd to do the chorus and got them to truly 'feel it'. It was a real pleasure to witness the finesse and talent of Steve Zukowsky in Dazed And Confused. The original song is 6 and a half minutes long, but Steve improvised it and included a long guitar solo within the song making it well over 10 minutes long. Then it was time for another song from Physical Graffiti The Wanton Song.
The best part of the set was yet to follow. It started with Moby Dick followed by two of the most legendary songs ever, Kashmir and Stairway to Heaven. I don't remember enjoying a song recently as much as I enjoyed Stairway to Heaven tonight. It was sheer bliss!! They came back out for an encore performance of Whole Lotta Love. The show ended quite late at around 12.50, but it was well worth the time that everyone spent at the Club Nokia.
This band amazes me more and more every time I see them. I'm quite sure I'll never find a more dedicated group of Zeppelin fans. The vocalist Swan Montgomery even mentioned that they went all the way to London to see Led Zeppelin's reunion gig in 2007 and they're going to recreate it song for song on that show's second anniversary this December. He impersonates Robert Plant in the most perfect manner possible. The guitarist Steve Zukowsky was breathtakingly great, even while doing a double gig tonight with both bands. These two awesome performers were complimented really well by the two Jims, Wootten and Kersey on bass and drums respectively. They combined together to give us a night that truly rocked!!
