Official Rules

HOW TO ENTER:

No purchase necessary

Round 1 PHOTO SUBMISSION

(Number of Entries based on Submissions, Judges will vote and top ten submissions will move to Round 2)

Submissions accepted November 8th 2009, through December 20th 2009

Submit your photo online for entry into our Miss Full Metal Rock 2010 Contest.

Photos may be snapshots, clear photos are recommended. We are looking for 3/4 length or full body, portfolio type shots. We are not looking for head shots - we want to see what you will look like in our print ads! Submissions may be in color or black and white and may be any size.

Photos must be in .jpg digital format at 9999 KB or less to upload pics using the form below. To send very large photos please use this link here http://tinyurl.com/FMRUPLOADPIC to upload your photo instead of uploading through the form below: no hard copies of photos will be accepted.

No one else in photo (crop them out) - if photo contains more than 1 person, it simply will not be included in contest unless this is a duo entry of 2 consenting entrants who meet all eligibility requirements. No nudity will be accepted, but provocative photos are encouraged. Special attention will be given to photos that contain the words "Full Metal Rock" or creatively display the Full Metal Rock Logo, be unique, creative, you can even write on your body or clothing.

ELIGIBILITY:

All entrants must be 18 years or older as of time of entry. Picture submitted must be of entrant.

Entries from anywhere in world are enourage, but only U.S.A and Canada will be eligible for Grand Prize.

VOID IN PUERTO RICO, GUAM, THE U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS, AND WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.

Round 2 ESSAY QUESTION

(10 entries will be voted on by judges and narrowed down to three semi finalists)

Answer a single music related essay question

Round 3 VIDEO SUBMISSION

(Three semi finalists will be voted on by judges and one winner picked)

One minute video submission of a Full Metal Rock Shout Out

SELECTION OF WINNER:

(January 10th 2010)

Judges (Full Metal Rock Staff) decisions are final. Photos will be judged on first impression as well as the individual's overall cover model appeal. We are looking for personality and style, and to fit our theme of Full Metal Rock. We are not looking for an established professional, we are looking for a diamond in the rough, much like the bands we seek, and feature. By submitting photos, you give Full Metal Rock permission to post them on our website. You will not be compensated for such use. Please note that the photo submitted will only be posted on Full Metal Rock for the voting phase of the contest. Full Metal Rock will be voting and choose the entries that will move to Round 2, The Single essay question (music related) Full Metal Rock reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest or any part of the Contest, at any time.

OTHER STUFF WE HAVE TO TELL YOU:

By submitting your photo, you grant a nonexclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, and fully sub licensable right to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, and display such content throughout in any editorial, public relations, promotional and advertising purposes in any media, including the internet. You grant Full Metal Rock, the right to use the name that you submit in connection with such content, if we choose. Entrants who do not agree to this use should not enter this contest. You represent and warrant that you own or otherwise control all of the rights to the content that you submit; that the content is accurate; that use of the content you supply does not violate this policy and will not cause injury to any person or entity; and that you will indemnify, defend and hold harmless, Full Metal Rock for all claims resulting from content you supply. Entries must only depict your original work. You hereby represent and warrant that: (1) all entry material submitted is wholly original to and created by you, and has not been copied in whole or in part from any other work (2) the entry material is your exclusive work and does not infringe upon or otherwise violate the copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity or other proprietary rights of any third party; (3) you have the full and exclusive right and authority necessary to submit the entry material in the Contest and to grant the rights granted herein without permission from or payment to any third party; and (4) you meet all the eligibility requirements and that you have not engaged in any of the disqualifying activity set forth in these Official Rules. If grand Prize winner can not accept grand prize- runner up will be chosen.

PRIZE DESCRIPTION:

Grand Prize
Winner of Miss Full Metal Rock 2010

Professional photo shoot provided by Edward Hannigan Photography, shoot will included 3 hours of shoot time, All images will be burned to DVD only and photographers picks will be color corrected. (5) 8 x 11 portfolio ready images provided with a portfolio book. Shoot will be in one of three possible locations, Los Angeles County CA., Orange County Ca., Or Las Vegas NV to be determined and agreed upon mutually by photographer - Edward Hannigan Photography and Winner. (Transportation will not be provided)
Full Metal Rock Gear - various T-shirts, necklaces, earrings, some autographed cd's from our stash
Audio interview with editor of Full Metal Rock, to promote yourself, and featured on Full Metal Rock's homepage
Winner will also receive a custom designed web page (up to 5 pages total) hosted on Full Metal Rock's server, designed by Full Metal Rock's own webmaster Thorn Web Designs, and mutually designed by winner.

Exposure On Full Metal Rock throughout the entire 2010 year and various Full Metal Rock print possibilities.
