NONPOINT
Miracle
Review By ~ Nick Daniels (Vegas Correspondent)

With a new guitarist (Zach Broderick ~ Modern Day Zero) and new management company (Split Media LLC), Fort Lauderdale based metal group Nonpoint releases their 6th studio album in MIRACLE, expected to hit store shelves May 4, 2010.
Produced by Chad Gray and Greg Tribbett of MUDVAYNE/HELLYEAH fame (with Chad doing some backing vocals on the album's title track, and first single), MIRACLE still brings the raw, aggressive sound that Nonpoint fans have loved since they first arrived on the music scene in 1997. Late last year, they released a demo on their MySpace page for their song, “SHADOW”, which would become the opening track for the album.
Elias Soriano continues his relentless pursuit for permanent laryngitis with his aggressive vocals and Robb Rivera might be the reason for all the earthquakes around the world as he continues to be one of the heaviest and hardest drummers in the business. Ken Charman didn’t skip a beat as the bassist and it seemed like the aforementioned Zach had a smooth transition into lead guitar, replacing fan favorite Andrew Goldman, who left the band to "pursue interests outside the world of music."
While the tracks “SHADOW”, “MIRACLE”, “WHAT YOU’VE GOT FROM ME”, “LOOKING AWAY”, and “DANGEROUS WATERS” will probably the most requested tracks on the album, tracks like “FRONTLINES” and “WHAT I’VE BECOME” might make you break out your lighter if/when they are performed live. The Pantera classic, “5 MINUTES ALONE”, originally recorded for the Metal Hammer tribute album "Getcha Pull! A Tribute to Dimebag Darrell" as a downloadable bonus track, made the album as a great remake of the song. “DEAD SOUL” will have your friends questioning what band you are listening to!!
May 4th, I recommend that you get to your nearest music store and pick up MIRACLE. Nonpoint did not disappoint and believe that fans would agree. Nonpoint just recently finished a tour with Cold, so expect to see them back out on the road to promote this album.
