Steel Panther the band that claims "We fucked your mom back in the 80's" played their Friday night Vegas gig to a full house inside the Ovation at Green Valley Ranch. This is a band who makes fun of the whole hair metal scene, and all the "W" bands, you know ; Whitesnake, Warrant, Winger, White Lion. Sure their show is a little over the top, but hey so were the entire 1980's. These guys can actually play their instruments, and pull off some pretty decent covers from the likes of Motley Crue, Ratt, Poison, Skid Row, and many others. Like I said the place was packed and there was still a line of people trying to get in when the show was almost over.

I first saw these guys several years ago, when they were called Metal Skool, I got to see them at the filming of the movie "Rock Star" In between Movie takes they had a show that featured; Megadeth (Code name for the show was Vic and The Rattleheads), Great White, Wasp played to a full arena in L.A That was a great time were Myles Kennedy now of Alter Bridge was pulled from the crowd (for the movie) to front a band called Steel Dragon.

One of the cool things about Steel Panther is you never know who is going to show up, and join them onstage.
Tonight was no different, and the highlight of the show was Corey Taylor of Slipknot/Stone Sour was pulled from the crowd to join Steel Panther Onstage for A Poison Tune "Nothing but a good time" , and Ratts "Round and Round".

If you have not seen Steel Panther yet, I would suggest you go see them, and be ready to laugh your ass off.

If you are easily offended- you probably should not go, Plus you are probably a douche bag.
